Rubber Cover - Flat Dark Earth Color 6" x 1.22"ID

SPECIFICATIONS: 6" long, 1.22" ID, 1/8" thick.

FDE Color is an excellent match to MAGPUL's FDE color. Other manufacturers FDE may or may not be as good a match. The product is made from FDE colored rubber. The color is not painted on or otherwise applied to the surface. Color rendition of computer monitors may vary. We guarantee the color will match Magpul FDE and not necessarily the color displayed on your screen.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Lube it with alcohol-based gel hand sanitizer. Lube the inside of the cover and the outside surface of the tube. Use a lot of gel, don't go sparingly here, the stuff is cheap. Wear a leather or cloth glove to prevent blisters while sliding the cover onto the tube. The alcohol will eventually dry off, 1-2 days up to a week but you can start using the cover immediately. Resist the temptation to use dish soap as a lube. It will work but it will never evaporate and you'll have a sloppy loose fit and the cover might come off. Removal of the cover is easy. Just make a small cut and rip it right off. NOTE: This will destroy the cover.
