The Legend Rubio (Walking Wolf), an old Navajo warrior tells his story to Ben Blue over coffee and a camp fire. As a young man in the late 1820s, Rubio had been as happy and contented as the spirits, which govern a man’s life, would allow. When his young wife and his children were taken from him, he was driven to take up the warrior’s trail. One man declared war on a nation… the Apache nation. A sheep herder and corn planter had turned scalp hunter, and for over a year, Rubio wreaked havoc and revenge.
