This one-piece design maintains easy, one-handed access to the rear cargo area, rigidly linking the tail gate to the reinforced section of the rear quarter panel. This, in combination with forged steel hinge brackets and hardened steel pins, results in far superior load-bearing capacity than the factory tailgate hinges, effectively reducing wear and greatly increasing longevity. All finished in a tough satin black powder coat finish that defies the elements.
