While the SRAM Rival 1 Brake Lever weighs in a bit heavier than its carbon-endowed Force 1 counterpart, its forged aluminum lever brings with it a significantly lower price point without sacrificing SRAM's renowned precision--not to mention the improved odds of emerging from a one-on-one scuffle with gravel unscathed. The Rival 1 Shift Lever utilizes the same Reach Adjust technology found in SRAM's top-line offerings to provide a customizable reach distance, which keeps the lever perfectly in reach no matter your hand size. The hoods also feature ergonomic shaping for an extra bit of comfort over rough roads.
