Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) is a selective medium primarily used for the isolation of dermatophytes, other fungi and yeasts but can also grow filamentous bacteria such as Nocardia. - THESE SABOURAUD DEXTROSE AGAR PLATES ARE MANUFACTURED IN THE USA. They have a thick layer of agar which promotes good growth and have been professionally packaged.
- PLATE DIMENSIONS. The plates are 100mm in diameter x 15mm deep. The agar in the plates has a depth on average of 6-7mm.
- DESCRIPTION: 0.5% Enzymatic Digest of Casein, 0.5% Peptic Digest of Animal Tissue, 4% Dextrose, 1.5% Agar.
