This plate measures 2 1/2" x 3/8". For identifying your horse's/animal's name, with the lineage or phone number as an optional second line. Use screws or brads for saddle plate applcation, rivets for bridle application. These are the finest quality brushed satin, solid brass or solid nickel silver ($2.50 extra), one line engraved (included). Plates are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are sturdy, but still able to be pliable and create an elegant finish for the halter, collar etc. We quadruple rotary diamond engrave the name into the brass, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw brass is then double acid oxidized to produce the darkened text. (Please check your Amazon messages after ordering in case we have any issues or questions about your order.
