13" 8 Hole Chrome/Steel S-Hoop Bottom: The S-Hoop is like a triple flange hoop with an elongated inward beveled flange. From this new design came an overlying edge that turns in and bevels down towards the drum head, covering the bearing edge, increasing the hoop strength. The added steel made the hoop more rigid giving it consistent tuning characteristics, unlike any other. The patented design also gives the S-Hoop a smoother playing surface for rim shots and cross sticking, also creating less impact to the hands and wrist.
