Samarium Cobalt, or SmCo, magnets are very strong and have an extremely high resistance to heat. This magnet has 30 MGOe maximum product energy and the working temperature is about 608 Fahrenheit. Comparing with Neodymium magnet, its strength is equivalent to an N30 neodymium magnet, but the temperature resistance is much superior than the neodymium magnets which makes it perfect for industrial applications that may have a high heat range where neodymium magnets will lose their strength.
