Santa's Little Mistake: a short romantic comedy

Carrie Stockton dreads her looming office Christmas party for three reasons. One, she has no date â€¦ again. Two, since her bombastically bitchy co-worker Becca couldnâ€™t steal Carrieâ€™s promotion, she stole her six-foot-four, dark-haired and handsome client instead. Three, and most problematic, Carrie failed to complete her sole task for the party (to hire the bartender) and makes up for it by manning the bar herself. When Becca downs a few too many of Carrieâ€™s signature cocktails and commits a major party foul, is Carrie to blame? Or is Santaâ€™s Little Mistake the act of fate Carrie needs to turn her ho-ho-hum life around?
