Farfalline are little butterflies, and Sapori Antichi makes them as beautiful and full of color as the real thing. Farfalline offers a tasty pasta that is fun, pretty, and all natural.
The pasta is made with select durum wheat semolina, slowly dried in a very low temperature. The colors are not the result of food color, but of natural sources that provide both the color and flavor. The 5 color pastas are made with various combinations of tomatoes, beets, spinach, turmeric and squid ink (nero di sepia).
Sapori Antichi was founded by Marco Zanier in 1996 and is located in the Udine Provence in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. There, in the Carnic Alps, the pasta ingredients receive their best components-air, water, and sun. The production remains on a small scale in order to continue making things by hand and to provide the most accurate quality control.
Each package of Multicolor Farfalline by Sapori Antichi contains 8.8 ounces or 250g.
