After signing to southern powerhouse label Trill Entertainment, Webbie blasted onto the scene in 2005 with 'Gimme That' (featuring Bun B) that eventually reached #4 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart and #29 on the Billboard Top 100 chart, leading the single to be certified Gold by the RIAA. With his debut album Savage Life being released shortly after selling 386,724 units, Webbie solidified himself as a mainstay in the South. With Savage Life 3 Webbie plans to further the upper echelon of down south rappers.
