The top musical honor was presented to Bill Leslie in New Orleans on May 17, 2014 by Windham Hill Records founder and Grammy Award winner Will Ackerman. Bill Leslie's seventh album features a highly talented ensemble of musicians on piano, acoustic guitar, violin, cello, Celtic flutes and whistles, oboe, accordion and percussion. Scotland: Grace of the Wild features 14 instrumental tunes. Nine of the songs were written by Leslie and the remainder are traditional melodies including Loch Lomond and Flowers of Edinburgh. The album was co-produced by Bill Leslie, pianist Bill Covington and John Plymale. The legendary Greg Calbi mastered the album at Sterling Sound in New York.
