Made with Java and will run on any Java-enabled computer
Create one-time cypher pads
Encrypt files using one time cypher pads
Decrypt files using one time cypher pads
Encrypted files cannot be decrypted without a copy of the cypher pad used to encrypt them
Scrambler allows users to create one time cypher pads, and encrypt aqnd decrypt files using them. Files encrypted using one time cypher pads cannot be decrypted without a copy of the cypher pad. This allows files to be sent over networks without concern about them being intercepted and decrypted by an unauthorized person. Using Scrambler is easy. Create a cypher pad, put a copy of the cypher pad on both computers that secure communication is needed with (e.g. company desktop and laptop). If a file with proprietary information needs to be sent from one to the other, encrypt the file on the sending computer, send it (via ftp, or as an e-mail attachment, etc.), and decrypt it at the receiving computer. Nobody without a copy of the cypher pad can decrypt the file, so any interception of the file during transmission cannot be decrypted. Scrambler works on any Java enabled computer.
