Secrets of Life features many of the artist's trademarks that have helped him release some recent classics: breathy flutes, moody atmospheres, light rhythms with a tribal feel, a touch of Asian/Eastern spirituality and elements of mystical electronica to round things off. Inshallah, the opening track, is a throwback to Enigma with Middle Eastern vocals by Muhammed Eghbal.
