Seoul Survival (Korean Travel Guide): Expat Travel Guide (Survival Series Book 2)
You’re finally taking that trip to Korea...
...an exciting land where technology and culture combine, like two flavours of ice cream that you just mixed up in the bowl. Exactly the same.
Whether you are visiting Korea for tourism...
...or to teach English, or for any other reason, this guide is your best friend. It’s written by two guys who met and lived there extensively so it’s information you can trust. Think of this guide as those two friends you’ve come to visit in a foreign land, and they can’t wait to show you all the best stuff and share everything they know.
Part reference, part prose
This volume is filled to the brim with information and suggestions no other book will have a clue about. Most importantly, the honesty of these experiences will ring true with any fellow globetrotter. As we all know, one of the best parts of exploring the world is the invaluable advice, as well as the unbelievable stories, we get to share with one another. Travelers take the good with the bad and bravely forge ahead in the name of adventure, but why not take along a secret weapon?
Seoul Survival is a multimedia heavy guidebook.
You didn’t think travel guides could be entertaining, funny and helpful did you? Neither did we, so we went ahead and broke the mold.
Streamline your experience and save money
Follow the many Survival Tips which are chiseled out of the real life knowledge and experience of locals and expats. Learn Korean by associating it with ridiculous illustrations. Avoid making the mistakes we made by reading about them and laughing at our ineptness.
KA-POW! Origin Story!!
Before we moved to Korea, we spent countless hours scouring the internet for useful information. As anyone who has done research before traveling, there is some good stuff out there but sifting through all the unnecessary noise is time-consuming. We also purchased traditional guidebooks, big heavy bricks full of out-of-date, dry information with no personality. We used probably about seven pages worth of those massive guides. What a waste of precious weight when traveling. In spite of this, we still made a lot of rookie mistakes when we first arrived. That’s why we created this guide. A practical guide that gives you what you need to know, instead of everything you don’t.
