HD-Link: HL21 Receiver by Sewell
A pre-configured matrix may not fit all the needs of your setup, but the HL21 has the versatility to become your most useful tool in your setup sending your signal anywhere, from any place.
We have designed the HL21 to give you the ability to create your own set up by giving you the freedom to place as many transmitters and receivers you need. It can be a simple point to point setup, or an intricate Matrix setup whatever is required.
Extending Options
With a Gigabit Network Switch, you are able to extend lengths up to 390 feet both on the receiver and sender units. This option gives you the opportunity to place receivers and senders up to 780 feet apart. Note: From a point-to-point set up you are still only able to reach 390 feet.
HL21 Channel System
The Matrix customization can be set with the easy-to-use channel system on the HL21. You can set a certain channel to a sender and tune in as many needed receivers giving you complete control over your network. With the channel system you can reach many different configurations either manually or through RS232.
Extra Receivers and Senders Sold Separately
The HL21 will work from a point to point setup by connecting straight from the sender to the receiver, but that was not the main reason of designing this product. While usually the kits are sold together, the main benefit of the HL21 is the ability to configure to a matrix type setup which requires the use of a Gigabit Network Switch. Since this device is over IP the HL21 can have up to 64 receivers (that's a whopping 64 displays) with the potential of over 250 different senders (Note: this is contingent upon the capabilities of the network.)
