Unabatedly raging double bass drum attacks and intricate equilibrium between savage riffs and the arresting melodies of folk metal-influenced twin guitar leads, combined with Saukkonen's ferocious growls and well-timed dashes of black metal brutality and doom dirge resulting to a decidedly Finnish brand of melodic death metal sound, pioneered by giants like Amorphis and Insomnium.
