Hibiscus flowers not only taste refreshingly delicious in a hot or cold tea, they also produce seeds packed with skin nutritive beauty oil. Our Senegalese Hibiscus Oil is not a typical hibiscus essential oil. It is the pure fixed oil pressed manually from the flower seeds. This produces a medium weight oil that sinks into the skin to offer nutrients and protection.

A magical presence surrounds Hibiscus oil which is rich in anti-oxidants that help reverse the damage caused by UV rays, dust, pollutants and other environmental aggressors on the skin. Much of its power derives from the fact that it's a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs). Most individuals are familiar with the chemical forms of these acids that are both harsh and damaging to the skin. However, the natural sources actually are beneficial. These acids help mitigate and control oily skin and clogged pores and exfoliate, shedding dead skin cells just like your scrub.
