We tested these cloths in our own busy household, and they hold up just fine in regular washer and dryer cycle. With kids in the house, who has time for fru-fru fabrics - quick and easy is the name of the game. Like any terrycloth weave, the loops can get caught on other items in the same load though, so to keep yours looking like new, you could use a special laundry bag.
We use one color in the bath, at the sink, and during meal-time for gently wiping baby's mouth, cheeks, chin, hands, and everywhere else. We use the other color on the baby's bottom.
