Dulce Maria was part of the musical sensation RBD and in 2009, she signed a contract as a solo artist with Universal Music Latino recording her first solo album titled EXTRANJERA. She has collaborated with international stars Akon, Basshunter, Juan MagÃ¡n, J-King & Maximan, Chino & Nacho, Tiziano Ferro and Rio Roma. She has toured across Mexico, South America, Serbia, Romania, the United States, and Spain. She also has won several awards, including: Premios Juventud, Premios TVyNovelas, Premios People en EspaÃ±ol, Kids Choice Awards both Mexico and Brazil edition, among others.
