Roasting suggestions: We encourage you to experiment with the KIANJEGE coffee to find the balance you like best. We have found that the range this bean is happiest roasted is somewhere from Half City to Full City. We prefer just slightly less than Full City roast for a pour over method. Best enjoyed after the cup has cooled from hot to very warm. The flavor profile changes as the coffee cools; you can experiment with that as well. The Kenyan Bean can handle very light roast profiles. If you like a 'bright' acidic coffee, there are few as good as this Kenyan. It's an acquired taste, but delicious if you have the palate for it. Cupping Notes: Flavors will vary somewhat by roast profile, but in general: volcanic, earthy, balanced, and with hints of citrus best describe this deliciously complex and unique coffee.
