This edition combines SÃ¸ren Filipskiâ€™s lively modern translation with two famous sets of vintage illustrations: E. Monninâ€™s lavish engravings from the great 1843 Curmer edition and those of the French master Gustave DorÃ©, from Tales from Mother Goose.
