IMPORTANT ORDERING INFORMATION: SELECT THE CORRECT PET DOOR SIZE: Measure from the top of your pet's front shoulders to the floor. This will be the proper door opening size. IMPORTANT WALL VS HOUSE DOOR INSTALL: Be sure to order either a WALL INSTALL if installing in a wall, or a DOOR INSTALL if installing in a house door. IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL INFORMATION: If installing the pet door in a wall, we recommend the hard-wired electrical connection. The cord is less attractive and dogs can chew on the cord. Let us know if you prefer hard-wired or cord electrical connection? IMPORTANT WALL THICKNESS INFORMATION: Measure the distance from the inside wall to the outside siding, stucco, brick or stone. If the distance is 6" or less, no tunnel extension is required. If the distance is 6" to 8", a 2" tunnel extension is required. If the distance is greater than 8", a 4" tunnel extension is required.
