Emmy and Tony Award winning actress/singer Kristin Chenoweth explores her southern music roots with her new album, Some Lessons Learned. All of the songs on Chenoweth's new album are extremely personal and explore her life experiences as a woman.
Chenoweth has had an extraordinarily diverse career that includes television, movies and Broadway. She won the Emmy Award for her role on Pushing Daisies, a Tony Award for her role in You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, and originated the role of Glinda in Wicked. Most recently, she was nominated for her second Emmy for her recurring role of April Rhodes in Glee, a role where Kristin is able to show off her multi-faceted voice in a wide variety of musical numbers. Next, Chenoweth will star as Carlene Cockburn in the new ABC Network drama series, Good Christian Belles in Fall 2011.

It features songs by elite pop and country songwriters including Diane Warren, Desmond Child, Dolly Parton, Tom Douglas, Hillary Scott, Jodi Marr, Victoria Shaw, Eric Bazilian, Gary Burr and Shane McAnnally.
