The year is 2007, Sonny, 25 years of age and just getting by on the streets of Chicago is presented an opportunity by his lifelong friend, KD. It is a come up on a deal that will get the small time hustlers on their feet. The come up turns out to be a set up by an old friend who has Chicago narcotics waiting on the young men. They evade the trap, and later that night seek revenge. Revenge that turns out to be more profitable than they ever imagined. The unexpected windfall catapults Sonny and his friends to top hustler status in the game.
Nina, a woman who loves the finer things in lifeâ€”nice cars, designer clothes, and most of all, her dream of owning one of the hottest nightclubs in Chicago. She realizes her dreams can come true when she meets Sonny. Drawn to his movie star looks with a bad-boy edge, Nina finds the young hustler hard to resist. Heâ€™s younger than she is, but his swag more than makes up for the years between them. Sonny has the mind and savvy to become the king of Chicago, and Nina plans to help him get there. She is ready to take the ride with him so she can live THAT LIFE.
The future looks bright for Sonny and his boys, but there are a few obstacles they must navigate in the concrete jungle of the Chicago streets. Sonnyâ€™s conniving baby momma, a snake close to him, and an affiliate of a Columbian cartel who is hunting a member of Sonnyâ€™s crew, all pose serious threats to their budding empire. Will they survive, or like many others before them, succumb to the grimy streets of the windy city?
