The MixPre-6M is an ultra-portable, studio-grade multitrack recorder and high-performance USB audio interface, perfect for singers, songwriters, and band members.

Musician's Portable Studio
The MixPre-6M's musician-focused features allow you to simultaneously record, playback, mix, monitor, layer, and overdub up to 12 tracks, and if you need more, the bounce feature helps free up tracks. Built-in metronome helps keep your performance in time, while premium-quality reverb and vocal air effects add depth to your recordings. When you record music, you will also appreciate the convenience of features such as punch in and out, and ability to locate to cue points.

Sublime Audio Quality
The MixPre-6M features Sound Devices' Kashmir microphone preamps. These hand-crafted, discrete, Class-A mic preamps feature a -130dBV noise floor, analog limiters, and 32-bit A-to-D converters.

Multi-channel USB Audio Interface
The MixPre-6M operates as a 8-in/4-out USB audio interface with quality that rivals a stand-alone converter paired with boutique preamps.

I/O and UI Design
The MixPre-6M offers four balanced XLR/TRS inputs and a 3.5mm Aux/Mic input, along with an unbalanced 3.5mm stereo and headphone outputs. Both the stereo and headphone outputs can be individually configured, providing multiple options for monitoring.

Flexible Powering
The compact MixPre-6M can be powered using detachable sleds for (8 or 4) AA batteries or (2) hot-swappable Sony L-type Li-Ions. It can also be powered via USB-C or AC adapter.
