Sure, it's fun to fire off 10 shots from a Model 617, but then comes the tedious and time-consuming task of reloading one by one by one. Why spend all that time losing your concentration when you could be shooting? The easiest way to stay "in the zone" is to use a 22LR speed loader, and the speed loader to use is from Speed Beez. Speed Beez designs and manufactures each and every speed loader we make right here in the USA. We're dedicated to making the best speed loader available, and that starts with our "push-in" design, eliminating the twist that many speed loaders require. You'll be reloading from your loading block more quickly and dropping your next rounds into the cylinder faster than ever. When you're looking for the most efficient way to reload, grab a Speed Beez speed loader and get shooting'! Subject: 617 10 Shot Difference The Red Competition  loader pushes the rounds all the way into the chambers. Extra tough extra tight for the serious competitor. This make the releasing the rounds harder putting more stress on the yoke and crane of your revolver.  Do you need to push things to the limit? Then the red loader for you.  If you prefer an easier release, the gold loader is for you. The big difference is in the design of the release pins.  When you revolver chambers get dirty and they do very quickly with 22 ammo gravity will no longer finish the reload for you and you will need to run you finger or thumb around to finish seating the round into the chamber.  Competition  shooters demand more so we made one for them that finished the reload by full seating the rounds. If you have an extra second to seat the rounds you best off with the Gold one.  That's the difference both work great. Ultimately you'll be happy with either one.
