- SIZE: One size does NOT fit all. Our Spinning Rod Socks are made to fit over larger eyelets and our Baitcaster Rod Sleeve is smaller for a better fit around the smaller eyelets on Baitcaster Rods. Both are 67 inches long and best fit rods that are 6'6" to 7'2" in length

Our rod socks are a great way to prevent annoying tangles in your rod locker, garage or vehicle while protecting your fishing line and rod from nicks and scratches.

Midwest Outfitters' fishing rod socks are made of polymer fiber mesh that does not soak up moisture and resists folding.

We've balanced a tight weave with flexibility that keeps small eyelets from easily poking through the mesh while allowing enough give to let the rod cover slide over fishing line guides.

Since our rod covers use a tighter weave mesh it is important to install and remove them by pushing them over the large eyelet rather than pulling them. Pushing the rod sock allows it to expand and glide over the guide. If the sock is pulled rather than pushed it will tighten down like a finger trap and cause unnecessary friction.
