Geography is not the only thing that connects bands Alexisonfire and Moneen. Sure, Canadian bands like these have a tendency to stay close due to the small rock scene up there. But Moneen and Alexis have toured together and have shared plenty of good times and great shows. Not only is there mutual respect for each other's music, but they also respect each other's success. What better way to show that respect than to have the band's cover each other's songs? Well, that's what the two bands have done on this split EP. Both bands are about to begin recording full length albums that will see 2006 release dates, so here is something to hold over their ever-growing legion of fans. Vagrant. 2005.
