Spring Steel Round Shortening Shim Assortment (270 Pieces), Unpolished (Mill) Finish, Inch, With Case

The 270-piece spring steel round shortening shim assortment with unpolished (mill) finish includes shortening shims in various sizes and comes in a compartmented plastic case for storage and organization. Each shim is precision die cut to fit with close tolerances around a shoulder screw's shank and under the screw head, shortening the shoulder's length. The 0.005" shims are precision die cut from 1095 blue tempered spring steel, and the 0.015" and 0.032" shims are die cut from 1075 tempered spring steel. Spring steel offers flexibility and a balance of strength and toughness. The material is magnetic.
