On December 12, 1878, 4,020 St. Louisans picked up a copy of Joseph Pulitzer’s first newspaper. Today, more than 1.3 million adults read the St. Louis Post-Dispatch online or in print each week and is largest of 50 daily newspapers owned by Lee Enterprises.

With the largest news gathering organization in the region, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch provides the latest local and national news as well as business, sports, health, arts and entertainment and travel.
