Strapworks Flat Nylon Webbing for Sewing, pet Products, Gear Repair - Large Selection of Sizes and Colors
STRENGTH, STYLE, AND VERSATILITY: Nylon is soft, smooth, and super strong. It is popular for pet items like collars & leashes, as well as for heavy duty strapping applications such as cargo tie-downs.
COMPATIBLE WITH RATCHETS, CAMS, TRI-GLIDE SLIDES, MILITARY BUCKLES, D-RINGS, AND MORE: combine with metal or plastic hardware and your own sewing capabilities to create custom straps
VIBRANT COLORS AND A SMOOTH FEEL: Our Nylon tends to look richer and brighter than other types of webbing, and has a nice sheen. It also feels softer against the skin. When looks matter, choose nylon.
TENSILE STRENGTH (break strength) is 3000 lbs for the 1" webbing, with a thickness of approximately 0.07 inch. Webbing comes rolled and sealed in protective shrink-wrap.
For webbing with better water resistance, please see Strapworks Heavyweight or Lightweight Polypropylene, or our Colored or Utility Polyester listings
If you need a heavy-duty material with excellent strength, a soft feel, and an affordable price, then this is your webbing! Flat Nylon is strong, versatile, and easy to work with, making it one of the most popular types of webbing on the market. Nylon webbing is a great choice for higher abrasion applications such as pet collars, leashes, bag slings, rifle slings, webbing belts, cargo tie-downs, and much more! With the wide range of colors available and a nice sheen, Strapworks Nylon is also fantastic for sewing and crafting projects. It is a preferred material for use around humans and animals because of its soft touch. Because nylon can absorb water and stretch slightly when wet, Nylon straps are not recommended for use in very wet environments such as river rafting or in heavy rain. Please be aware that roll sizes greater than 10 yards may include splices from the factory. Strapworks is a family owned company based in Oregon, USA.
