Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this album from the disco greats. Silver Convention started life in Munich in 1974 when German songwriting and production partners Michael Kunze and Sylvester Levay released 'Save Me' on Jupiter Records, and with the help of three session vocalists it became an international Disco hit heralding the start of continued success throughout the 70's including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Instrumental Performance confirming the group's reputation for catchy dance floor music that was at the forefront of the Euro-disco movement. The release of Summernights also brought with it a new line up when long time vocalist Linda G. Thompson left to pursue a solo career, making way for native New Yorker, Rhonda Heath. Following the recognition of highly acclaimed industry print, Record World Magazine for best Female Vocal group in 1977, Silver Convention released Summernights (Golden Girls in the US and Australia) in the same year. BBR is very proud to introduce this delectably repackaged and lovingly remastered expanded edition of Silver Convention - Summernights. Complete with liner notes and added bonus content this BBR remaster is essential listening for all soul, pop, disco and dance fans out there!
