We love the Sun. It's amazing. We believe limited, smart exposure is actually pretty o.k. for the skin. But for those long exposure times, our SPF 15 Sun Balm will give your lips the extra protection they need.Â It glides on silky smooth *(and virtually clear) like our regular balms but we formulated it to be extra thick and creamy for longer staying power while out in those shining rays!

Our Sun Balm has juicy tangerine with hints of vanilla. Red Raspberry Seed oil which is exceptionally high in tocopherols. Sea Buckthorn oil, which is great for healing sun-damaged lips and Pomegranate Seed oil, a great anti-oxidant powerhouse.

Here's the deal with Zinc Oxide. We use non nano Zinc Oxide in our Sun Balm. Zinc Oxide is the only all natural, broad spectrumÂ (blocks both UVA and UVB)Â sun screen available today. Zinc Oxide is a mineral. It protects your lips by sitting on top of them and thus, provides a physical barrier against UVA and UVB rays. It actually deflects the rays away from the skin to prevent any harm. For adequate protection it must be applied often. As an interesting side note, to get our SPF 15 factor verified, our balm was laboratory tested on... (wait for it...) Humans! SPF 15 only means that your skin is protected 15x's "longer" than without the SPF 15 product. Be Sun Smart. Listen to your body. Listen to the Sun.

*A few swipes of Sun balm are needed for protection, many swipes will indeed give your lips a xtra white tint, which is fine too. Be sure to apply it often for protection and to keep that physical zinc barrier present.Â
