What type of light bulbs do I use?
A light bulb is not included with the SunGrow Lamp Clamp so that you can choose one that suits your specific pets and their needs. You can use heat bulbs, halogen tubes, infrared bulbs and others less than 200 watts. If the power is too high, the light fixture can't carry such a large load.

How safe is the SunGrow heat light fixture?
Along with being listed as being safe and reliable with the accredited Underwriters Laboratories (UL Listed) and certified by the European Conformity safety standards (CE certified), the heat lamp fixture is constructed with sturdy high quality materials. The durable plastic clamp grips tightly with rubber pads while the lamp head is made of heat-resistant metal so you can safely use it either with E26 or E27 lamp plug type.
