Supershrimp (Group of 10, Tank/Container not Included), Only Guaranteed to be Authentic and Have a Life Arrival Guarantee if Bought from Petshrimp

Supershrimp (Halocaridina rubra), also known as Hawaiian Red Shrimp, are amazing creatures that live over 20 years, never need water changes, only need food once every few weeks or few months and can be passed down from generation to generation for potentially hundreds of thousands of years as they also breed in captivity! Due to their small size (0.8 to 1.2 cm) containers of 1/2 gallon and up are perfectly suitable homes for these shrimp. We do *not* recommend sealed containers (like the Ecosphere...yes, this species is in the Ecospheres) or an aquarium or tank that is smaller than 1/2 gallon.

Keep in mind that these are brackish water animals that cannot be kept in a freshwater aquarium. Before purchasing these shrimp you need to set up a habitat for them and let it "age" for 3-4 weeks. Please google "Supershrimp set up" for further information on how to set up a suitable home for your soon to be pets.

Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail and once shipped your item will arrive within 2-3 days. Our shipping days are Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. We may also ship on Wednesdays depending on location.

When your local temperatures aren't suitable for the delivery of live shrimp or plants (too hot or too cold) we reserve the right to hold your shipment until your temperatures are more suitable. We generally don't ship unless your daytime highs are under 93F in the summer, or your high/low above 45F/32F in the winter. We apologize for the inconvenience, but it's for the safety of the animals.
