Synopsis

There is a safe haven in a village on the Irish coast, or so Bill is told. Before he can go there, he and Kim must travel back into London to rescue Annette and Daisy. Then they will have to battle their way through infected England to a rendezvous in Wales. But even if they can get the children to safety, Billâ€™s journey wonâ€™t be over. When he is told of the sanctuary awaiting them, he also discovers that the scientist who created the virus escaped from New York.

In order for the survivors to truly be safe, Bill will travel to Northumberland to confront the threat, discover the truth behind the conspiracy and finally choose between his old family and his new one.

This is the third, and last, volume of his journal but the story continues in Book 4: Unsafe Haven, Undead Britain (in the charity anthology 'At Hell's Gate') and Book 5: Reunion, out March 2015.
