Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this classic R&B album. In 1978, the newly named Switch (due to the ease in which they could change vocalist or instruments on stage) released their debut album under that moniker. SWITCH is a superb and exciting collection of mid and up-tempo grooves. Founding members Bobby DeBarge, Gregory Williams and Jody Sims take on the majority of the songwriting and production with Jermaine Jackson also contributing his talents. Stand out album tracks on SWITCH are the opener 'I Wanna Be with You', a funky work out which stays tight on the groove, 'We Like to Party Come On', a full on call to the floor with crisp drums and a propulsive groove, the up-tempo Soul shuffle 'Fever' and paranoid closer' Somebody's Watching You', a super fuelled percussion and horn led Funk bomb. Essential listening for all R&B, Soul, Funk and Disco fans.
