Wendy Carlos is one of the pioneers of Electronic music and has been since the debut of the Switched On Bach album was released in 1968. The album was a huge critical and commercial success and won many awards including three Grammys. The album was also certified platinum and broke new ground for Electronic music. Following the release of Switched On Bach, Wendy Carlos composed the highly influential and hugely successful soundtrack for the film A Clockwork Orange.
