THE CHRISTMAS CALAMITY MAIL ORDER BRIDE

Sweet western short story.

Clay Boone was excited to meet his mail order bride and eagerly awaiting the stage to arrive. When it finally did and he stepped down the steps to open the stagecoach door, he was taken aback by two women tumbling out of the stage fighting. Chaos ensued with the townsfolk gathering around watching. He seperated the two women and pulled them up the steps and inside only to find out that they both claimed to be Abigail Turner, his mail order bride.

Abigail Turner was bound and determined that the woman who boarded the stagecoach at the last stop wasn't going to steal her groom, but how was she going to prove who she was when at every turn the other woman demanded she was lying. To make matters worse, they looked so much alike, she could see why Clay couldn't figure out which one was which.
