Bass player, Dub fan, author, documentary maker, World Music explorer, modal Jazz obsessive, old punk: Jah Wobble made his name after founding PiL with John Lydon in 1978. Take Me To God was Wobble's most commercially successful LP to date, peaking at #13 and yielding the hits 'Becoming More Like God' and 'The Sun Does Rise'. Take Me To God was inspired by myriad styles of world music, pre-empting an explosion of interest in the genre.
