A swift, but gentle, hand slapped me on the face, â€œLorelai?â€
I opened my eyes to the cold blue of Oliver Mathan. â€œWhat is going on?â€
â€œWhat were you doing here?â€ his cool voice asked.
â€œI was delivering the bear report,â€ I responded. â€œI was told to bring it as soon as I could.â€
