Kathleen King began baking cookies to sell at her family's farm stand when she was only 11. Today, she is the founder and owner of Tate's Bake Shop in Southhampton, Long Island, New York. Tate's (named after her father) is a destination for locals and tourists alike. Just one bite of any of her scrumptious homemade desserts and one understands why Tate's is voted the Best Bakery in the Hamptons year after year.
