This is a true story based on actual events that occurred in 2012 on a ranch in Central Texas. I am not a scientist and I am not an expert. I am a regular, ordinary person who had the amazing privilege of seeing and hearing these creatures as they came almost weekly to visit our house. This book in no way is meant to be scientific. It is purely a description and an explanation of our experiences. There are volumes and volumes of books dedicated to scientific research on the subject of Bigfoot/Sasquatch. This book is solely my attempt at taking you on a one year journey into our lives as we discovered who was living in our backyard. So read on and join me in my first year of terror, excitement, and joy at discovering who was living in my backyard in the 100 acre woods on a ranch in central Texas.

I am currently working on the second book. I am also writing a series of short stories. Someone commented on questions left unanswered, so I plan to expand on many of the experiences we had that were not in the first book. Hind sight is 20/20. I wrote the first book within six months of completing the first year, so the information is fresh and I am still learning and coming up with my own conclusions. Most books that have been written on this subject were written based on eye witness testimony from thirty years ago. So, you are literally on this journey with me. Thanks to modern technology, this is a living breathing document. I plan to respond to the readers needs and desires for more information.
