Arguably the most famous rifle in United States military history, the model 1903 Springfield rifle served two world wars and the Korean conflict. Itâ€™s also seen action in smaller military conflicts thanks to its incredible accuracy and killing ability. Perhaps its best application was the use as a sniper rifle. Snipers around the world preferred it during World War Ii, and the gun was even more deadly with a telescopic sight attached.
