- The Spot On Spin Board is a slim, curved, plastic board specifically designed to help dancers improve their turns.
- The plastic spin board is curved plastic which is designed to reduce fiction and enable dancers to complete more turns.
- Dancers balance with one foot on the spin board and they complete their turns. With practice, (IT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR PIROUETTES IN ONE DAY-YOU WILL NEED TO PRACTICE TO IMPROVE YOUR TECHNIQUE) dancers will be able to complete more turns. Using the board allows the dancer to see why they are falling out of their turns and greatly improves spotting skill, allowing most dancers to quickly correct technique.
- Spot On Spin Board is 11 inches in length, 2 3/4 inch width, and 1/2 inch thick. So, if your foot is longer than about 10 inches or wider than about 2 1/2 inches-YOUR FOOT WON'T FIT ON THE BOARD!!!
- From center of board to either end of board there is a 5/8 inch variation of curvature in the plastic--which is ideal curvature for dancers under 150 pounds...if you weight more than that-YOUR WEIGHT WILL FLATTEN OUT THE CURVATURE OF THE BOARD AND THE BOARD WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY...THEREFORE THE SPOT ON SPIN BOARD IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH INDIVIDUALS WHO WEIGH MORE THAN 150 POUNDS.
