The relevance of deception is considered in contemporary warfare, in particular for NATO and the simulation of strength which can be cost-effective. Camouflage equipment, concealment practices, psychological exercises and electronic deception are all considered. The author is one of Britain's most promising military experts and has written "A Bodyguard of Lies".
