(From the original 2003 one sheet:) Parrish Smith, one half of the legendary EPMD, has finally returned with his third solo album, The Awakening. After reuniting with his partner Erick Sermon, they collectively released two more EPMD albums after releasing four classic albums, the gold-selling Back In Business and the critically acclaimed Out Of Business. This time out PMD has enlisted an all star lineup to assist him. The album features tracks produced by Alchemist (Mobb Deep, Jadakiss, Nas), Kutmasta Kurt (Linkin Park, Beastie Boys, Kool Keith), Pete Rock (Noreaga, The Roots, Notorious B.I.G), Erick Sermon (Redman, LL Cool J, Keith Murray), DJ Muggs (Cypress Hill, Goodie Mobb, Xzibit), Ghetto Professionals (Big Punisher, Beatnuts, Big L), DJ Honda (Gangstarr, Beatnuts), and 7L (Tragedy Khadafi, 7L & Esoteric) as well as others. The album features vocals by Fat Joe, Erick Sermon, B-Real of Cypress Hill, Das EFX and K-Solo. There is no question that The Awakening is destined to be yet another Hip Hop classic in the long and triumphant career of PMD.
