About the Author: Anthony Mazzocchi has taught at the K-college levels for over fifteen years. He has built, supervised, and consulted award winning band programs at the middle and high school levels. For this, Mr. Mazzocchi was nominated for the first ever GRAMMY Music Educator Award in 2013. He has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony, San Diego Symphony, San Diego Opera, Riverside Symphony, Key West Symphony, in various Broadway shows and numerous recordings and movie soundtracks. Mr. Mazzocchi has served as faculty or as a frequent guest lecturer at The Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, Montclair State University, NYU, Mannes College of Music, and Kean University. Mr. Mazzocchi is Associate Director and Professor of Trombone of the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University and Executive Director of the Kinhaven Summer Music School in Weston, Vermont.
