Blaine Vanderbilt has smoldering good looks and a good heart to go along with that. He’s planning on playing Santa to a bunch of sick children who are in the hospital dealing with illnesses during the holidays in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
He’s spent his thirty-six years doing not so good deeds as he made his fortune by founding a retail chain called Bargain Bin, Inc. A company that moves into small towns and offers all the things the non-chain stores offer at dirt cheap prices as they get all of their stock from other countries at cut rate prices. They also employ only disabled people but pay them minimum wage, exploiting them as well as ruining local economies.
His father’s death has him second guessing his ways and he turns over a new leaf, making big changes in his stores and in his life as well.
Delaney Richardsis a twenty-eight-year-old nurse who plays the part as his little elf, a fiery red head with emerald eyes. Her parents owned a small tire shop in the small town of Lockhart, Texas. When Bargain Bin came in, they couldn’t compete with the price of tires the large store sold and went out of business. She has to help support her parents with her nursing career and hates Blaine. For the kids, she gets along with him in front of them but doesn’t believe he’s really changed his ways.
Although they both feel an instant attraction, Delaney isn’t about to let lust rule her. She oozes self-discipline and won’t be fooled by Blaine’s changes, she thinks are merely temporarily caused by his father’s passing.
Spending nearly every waking hour next to the man as she’s been given the task to aid him with his endeavors with the children at the hospital she works at, has her finding him to be a very different man than she thought he was.
Add in a little Christmas magic and you have the makings for a holiday romance, you won’t soon forget…
